Unit 4- Spread Sheet Tools
1.How to Teach Teens Spanish on the Computer http://www.ehow.com/how_8596897_teach-teens-spanish-computer.html This site has great ideas to teach Spanish using spreadsheets (Excel).
Subject: Spanish
Grade: High School
Objective: Students will be able to work as a group in order to learn spanish language.
Purpose: The purpose of this tool is to help the students and also the teacher to get tips on how to integrate technology in a Spanish class.
Lesson Activity: Student will use this tool to look for some verb conjugations that are going to be giving to them. Then they will write a short story using this verbs.
Assesment: Teacher will check for understanding by giving students a little quiz about conjugations.

This site has great ideas and a lot of help with how to use spreadsheets while teaching.

Subject: Algebra
Grade: High School
Objective: Students will be able to learn math in a fun and easy way.
Purpose: The purpose of this tool is to help the teacher provide material to the students to work on.
Lesson Activity: Students will work as a team in a worksheet. Then students will play a game in the same groups and work in the board on the problems without looking at the worksheet and the one who wins is going to get points for the test.
Assessment: Teacher will check for understanding by giving a test with the material covered during that week.

Objective: Students will be able to create a spreadsheet for math to create a presentation.
Purpose: The purpose of this tool is to guide the students on how to create a spreadsheet.
Lesson Activity: Students will use this tool to work in pairs in order to create a math spreadsheet presentation.
Assessment: Teacher will check for understanding by grading their presentations and asking questions to test their understanding.
